Welcome to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Serving and advocating for the needs of Vietnam veterans while fostering a positive public perception of this generation of heroes is our main mission here. Our comrades have here a safe place where they come accepted and welcomed. Please read on to view our mission, goals, and aspirations.
At VVA Chapter 17, our mission is to promote and support a broad spectrum of issues vital to Vietnam veterans. We aim to create a new identity for this generation of veterans and in doing so, change public perception of their sacrifices. Through dedicated advocacy and community service, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of veterans and their families.
“Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another.”
VVA knows what returning veterans face. We have been through it before and we know that, despite all the rhetoric, returning veterans will face major problems. VVA will be here for as long as it takes to make sure that those who serve our country receive the care and respect they have earned.
